Trinity SELT Preparation (UK Only)
Prepare for your Secure English Language Test (SELT) with confidence the UK Home Office-approved test required for visa, extension, and settlement applications.
If you’re applying for a UK family visa, visa extension, or settlement (ILR) or citizenship, you may be required to pass a Trinity SELT exam approved by the UK Home Office. Our SELT Preparation course helps you build the specific Speaking and Listening skills tested in the exam, with a focus on exam format, question types, and confidence under exam conditions. Open to students aged 16 and above, no upper age limit.
Unlike academic English courses, SELT preparation is entirely focused on Speaking and Listening the only two skills Trinity SELT tests so every class is built around exam-specific practice, not general English study.
Choose the level required for your visa or immigration purpose:
- A1 typically required for family or spouse visa applications
- A2 typically required for visa extension applications
- B1 typically required for settlement (ILR) or citizenship applications
Your placement test confirms your current level and whether you’re ready to begin SELT-specific preparation, or whether some General English study first will help you reach the required level.
